Accessibility statement

Marlon Raye Enterprises, LLC wants marlonraye.com to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

The standard

This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. The same standard guides the websites I build for clients.

What’s in place

  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • A visible focus outline for keyboard users, and navigation that works without a mouse.
  • A Pause motion button on pages with moving content, and all animation stops automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Headings and page regions marked up so assistive technology can move through the page.
  • Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast.
  • Form fields with labels and clear error messages.

Known limitations

Photography booking and full galleries are hosted on Format (marlonraye.format.com), and some links go to Instagram. Those are third-party platforms, so their accessibility is outside my direct control. If anything there gets in your way, email me and I’ll help directly.

Tell me about a barrier

If something on this site is hard to use, or you need content in another format, email mr@marlonraye.com. Tell me the page and what happened, and I’ll work with you to fix it or get you the information another way.
